Hello my pretty...
Growing up I was spellbound by the witches I saw in movies, Ursula, Maleficent, Nancy Downs, Sally Owens to mention a few. The list goes on, and so does my love for witchcraft. My need for knowledge and kindred-ship expanded into learning more about the history of the craft, the occult, the paranormal, astrology, tarot, all of it felt "normal" and all of it influences my everyday life and art. Creating Black Moon Crafts gave me the space to share my "magic" with you, I hope that my little corner of the web brings you joy. Lumine Lunae Ductus (May the light of the moon guide you.)~Lesley
All About Me

"Being a witch gives you the power to heal yourself, change your life, change your world, and conjure your every dream"
Juliet Diaz, Author of Witchery: Embrace the Witch within
Art and witchcraft entangle themselves within me, so it was only natural to create a website dedicated to both. I grew up in the Inland Northwest, where I continue to live. I loved reading R.L. Stine books as child which graduated into reading Anne Rice, and the like, although I'll admit these days its more audiobooks then actual reading, but I have a great excuse, I have my little boy to chase around, my teenager to get to high school events and spending time with my oldest daughter, and grandson. Life is a balancing act of doing the things you love, and the things you must, but sometimes you must do the things you love. That is why I created Black Moon Crafts, so I could have a place to create and share with likeminded individuals, like yourself.
The name Black Moon Crafts has a two-fold meaning for me, firstly "black moon" comes from the "new moon" phase when creativity and new beginnings can be manifested. Secondly, astrologically it is tied Lilith, or "Black Moon Lilith," and is related to your hidden true desires or true self. Creating a witchy website that shares my crafts and my "crafts" is everything the black moon represents. I am committed to sharing my authentic self with you, and I hope you enjoy my art, and I hope you join my Black Moon Blog, where I post witchy topics, personal tarot pulls and create a forum for my magical sisters.
